The Problem
The literary event industry runs on scattered emails, personal favours, and manual coordination. There's a better way.
Scattered communication
Emails, spreadsheets, phone calls — coordinating a single event takes weeks of back-and-forth between venues, publishers, and authors.
Empty calendars
Bookstores struggle to consistently fill their calendars, while publishers have no easy way to find and book the right venues.
No central discovery
Indie authors and small presses have no easy way to access venues. There's no single place to find spaces, check availability, or make a request.
How It Works
Connectabook connects event spaces with the literary world — without the usual friction.
Step 01
List your space
Create a venue profile with your capacity, location, availability, and what makes your space right for literary events.
Step 02
Receive requests
Publishers and authors browse venues and send event requests directly. You accept, decline, or negotiate — on your terms.
Step 03
Confirm and go
Once confirmed, all the details live in one place. No chasing emails, no lost threads, no miscommunication.
Step 04
Get discovered
Your venue appears in a searchable directory — connecting you with publishers and authors you'd never have found otherwise.
Who It's For
Whether you host events, organize them, or write the books — Connectabook is for you.
